I'm Meagan!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut. I'm passionate about helping people connect to their authentic selves and foster self-compassion. I aim to help people combat shame and anxiety and embrace recovery and a life free from disordered eating. I practice from a Health At Every Size (HAES) perspective.

In addition to my eating disorder specialty, I greatly enjoy working with people who do not struggle with disordered eating or body image issues. I also work with people dealing with anxiety, perfectionism, depression, and more. In the past, I worked as an Academic Coach for Graduate Students on a university campus in Boston and provided targeted education around productivity, study skills, and organization.

In my clinical work, I incorporate aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness techniques to help clients create happier and healthier lives.

Whether you're seeking therapy to better understand your emotions, process a life change, or improve your relationships, I'll work collaboratively with you to discover full potential.

Aside from being passionate about mental health, I love music, romantic comedies and true crime documentaries, sunsets, dogs, and enjoying yummy food with family and friends.
